Big Life Changes
(But First, a Little Backstory)
If we’ve known each other for a while, you know that in 2021… I blew up my life.
I realized that very little about my life was working for me. I spent years meticulously and painstakingly building myself into a golden prison. I felt exhausted and drained most of the time.
When I got honest with myself about what actually made me happy and my real priorities, I realized that almost nothing in my life matched up.
The last half of 2021 became all about breaking free. Breaking free from a life I thought I wanted. The life I had worked so damn hard to create.
That year, I got divorced, sold my company, moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, completely revamped my nonprofit, and embarked on what I thought would be a short “Eat, Pray, Love”-style sabbatical.
It turned out to be much longer, deeper, and more transformational than I imagined. And it was absolutely worth it.
I came out the other side brighter, healthier, and more aligned than ever.
Rebuilding with Purpose
After a full year off, I spent two years working part-time as a consultant and advisor to 11 different companies. I served as the interim CMO of Soulbound.TV and co-created an overseas hiring system with my friend Anny.
During that time, I also fell head-over-heels into the world of AI — and saw how rapidly (and radically) it’s changing the way we live and work. The world is shifting faster than most people realize, and I knew I wanted to help lead that shift in a way that empowers solopreneurs.
Why Solopreneurs?
I’ve spent nearly 20 years working with them. I’ve built four companies, sold three, and I’ve seen firsthand that solopreneurs are the backbone of our economy — but they have the fewest resources.
There are over 25 million solopreneurs in the U.S. today, and that number is expected to grow to 42 million by 2026. The traditional path of 40-year careers in union jobs (like my parents and stepparents had) is gone. The rise of freelancing and one-person businesses is here — and it’s only accelerating.
With the power of AI, building a simple, profitable, location-free business is more doable than ever.

Cashflowy is the company I founded to support this next wave of entrepreneurs.
It uses smart, accurate AI to handle bookkeeping and accounting for solopreneurs and creatives. And starting in 2026, it’ll do your taxes, too.

I'm Leaving Puerto Rico
2025 will be my last year living in Puerto Rico. I moved here in 2018, and this island has seen me through several major life chapters. It gave me my best friends and my deepest healing.
I’ll forever be grateful.

Hello, Lisbon 🇵🇹
I’m starting my transition to Lisbon, Portugal, and I’ll make a full move by 2026. My Puerto Rico condo is officially on the market.

Financial Titans Goes Global
My nonprofit, Financial Titans, is evolving in exciting ways.
We’ll continue to serve youth across Puerto Rico with deep financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and show them how to care for their mental & emotional well-being.
And, in 2025, we’re launching online programming worldwide — in both English and Spanish.
Madelynne and I will lead our global expansion. Our Puerto Rico programs will be run by a fellow Act 60 community member (who I’ll introduce soon!).
I’ll remain President of the Board and oversee both in-person and online programs.

Big Life Change #4:
New Firm, New Mission
Madelynne and I are acquiring a CPA firm in the U.S., which we’re rebranding to Sovereign Tax Advisors.
Our specialty will be helping high-income and medium-to-high net worth U.S. citizens optimize their taxes — whether they want to remain in the States or live abroad while continuing to own and run U.S.-based businesses.
And, we’re creating a unique tax service in partnership with Cashflowy (called Taxflowy), specifically designed for creatives, solopreneurs, and freelancers.
We’re building something modern, bold, and deeply supportive. Stay tuned.

Cashflowy’s Next Chapter
Let’s talk about my baby — Cashflowy.
When I first launched it, I had a minority co-founder (tech partner) who was perfect on paper. But he couldn’t bring my vision to life. After a long, difficult stretch of stalled progress and thwarted expectations, I made the tough decision to fire him and our entire dev team.
It was the right call. It unlocked everything.
Today, I have a new business partner, a new CTO, and an amazing new dev team. The new dev team gets more done every 24 hours than the old team would get done every 2 months.
My vision is coming to life — fast.
